3I/Atlas Updates @ 8 November 2025

Qicheng Zhang/Lowell Observatory ~ LiveScience

Right. Time to catch up on some updates regarding our Interstellar Visitor. Which means wading through some really questionable content online πŸ™„

First up is the potentially first image of post-Perihelion 3I/Atlas, courtesy of amateur Astronomer Qicheng Zhang. Hmmmm still no tail.

There's a more recent one also taken by Zhang, also tail-less:

Cometary

Based on more credible sources, in the recent period prior to and post Perihelion, it would seem that:

*3I/Atlas appears to be hotter than expected, confounding experts (again)
*3I/Atlas has brightened considerably beyond expectations (again)
*3I/Atlas has accelerated independently of gravity, defying odds (....again?)
*data is being shared by amateur Astronomers instead of official channels (again).

In other words, this Visitor is yet again exhibiting very non-Comet-like behaviour.

Here are some reports from Avi Loeb that highlight some relevant points and considerations about what's happening with 3I/Atlas. While I do not share his strong concern for a hostile attack/takeover by advanced ETs, I do appreciate his observations and perspectives, and his determination to be swimming uphill against the mainstream.

By the way Avi Loeb, here are some interesting scenarios for you to consider:

  • No need to worry about an Alien Invasion ~ they already did that eons ago and that's why we have a global control system
  • Focus instead on getting rid of the negative Alien Intruders right in our own backyard
  • Nasa isn't what you think it is, and the "Space Force" isn't to protect Humanity
  • The Invisible Wars (becoming not so invisible) between negative Intruder Races and Guardians have been raging for eons
  • We all are of ET origin.

Okeydoke back to Avi Loeb's reports:

3I/ATLAS Rapidly Brightens and Gets Bluer than the Sun Near Perihelion

Excerpt: The appearance of 3I/ATLAS as bluer than the Sun is very surprising. Dust is expected to redden the scattered sunlight, and the surface of the object is expected to be an order of magnitude colder than the 5,800 degrees Kelvin at the photosphere of the Sun, resulting in it having a redder color than the Sun. We must therefore add the blue color at perihelion as a ninth anomaly to the list of unexpected properties (compiled most recently here) of this strange interstellar object. Does it employ a power source that is hotter than the Sun?

First Evidence for a Non-Gravitational Acceleration of 3I/ATLAS at Perihelion

Afterthoughts on the Non-Gravitational Acceleration of 3I/ATLAS at Perihelion

Excerpt: If we do not observe a massive cloud of gas around 3I/ATLAS in December, then the reported non-gravitational acceleration near perihelion might be regarded as a technological signature of a propulsion system.

I do not understand much of the scientific mechanics in the articles, but for those who do, the articles would be beneficial. I also appreciate Avi Loeb calling the term "dark comet" an oxymoron πŸ˜„ That's the scientific experts for you.

There's also an interview with Ashley Banfield, which I found informative. Please watch it here.

(For information, in case there is any accusation of bias or prejudice since it's obvious I don't think much of the Scientific sector ~ I was a Science student in school, a Science graduate, and had a Science-based career.)

I think it's very encouraging to see amateur Astronomers step in and provide public data about this Visitor. This is a telling example of how "We the Little People" will be the ones to initiate, create and expand our New Reality, independent of "governments" and other control structures as much as possible. To me, this is the true meaning of "The meek shall inherit the Earth". More about that another time.

Solar Activity ~ 5 - 8 November 2025

It's been intermittently stormy for the past few days, starting from the final hours of 5 November 2025 (images above and below ~ I do not currently have the mental, emotional and physical capacity to merge the graphs as I usually do, hence separate they remain πŸ˜†):

....with corresponding high-speed Solar winds:

Our Sun is still churning out gargantuan CMEs, like this recent one on 7 November 2025:

SpaceWeatherLive

Earlier on the same day (7th), our Planet was swathed in high Plasma density ~ this was the same timeframe as those high-speed Solar winds:

Solar Activity & X-Class Flares ~ 4 & 5 November 2025

SpaceWeather

Ooooh....after intently focussing on other Planets for more than 4 months, our Sun has turned its attention to Earth. We had two X-class flares in a row yesterday 4 November and there was an M-7.4 flare just now, chart shown below:

The clip above shows the two X-class flares ~ X1.8 & X1.1. Based on the assumption that there were several energetic interactions with 3I/Atlas with all those CMEs hurled towards it, these flares would certainly carry some interesting frequencies and Cosmic codes.

For more details about the X-class flares, please visit SpaceWeather.

SpaceWeather also reports that we would be expecting some Earth-facing CMEs soon, bearing in mind that our Sun has been spewing colossal non-Earth-facing CMEs daily over the past weeks.

Here are two recent ones:

Perihelion Solar Activity & 3I/Atlas Update

SpaceWeatherLive

We have CMEs galore around 3I/Atlas' perhelion on 29 October 2025 ~ here are some examples for each day between 28 October (above) and 31 October 2025:

SpaceWeather has the following update on 3I/Atlas ~ it's ironic that we're getting data about this Visitor from mediums other than the ones who should be updating us. Even previous sightings made available to the public have come from amateur Astronomers instead of "official sites".

RAPID BRIGHTENING OF COMET 3I/ATLAS: Spacecraft monitoring the sun witnessed a dramatic surge in the brightness of Comet 3I/ATLAS as it plunged toward its Oct. 29th perihelion. Qicheng Zhang (Lowell Observatory) and Karl Battams (U.S. Naval Research Laboratory) reported the phenomenon in a preprint submitted to the Astrophysical Journal Letters on Oct. 28th.

"The reason for 3I’s rapid brightening, which far exceeds the brightening rate of most Oort cloud comets, remains unclear," the authors say.

And here are the current positions of the 6+1 Comets/Pseudo-Comet in our Inner Solar System right now (2 November 2025), the new addition being 164P/Christensen:

And Comet Wierzchos ~ also not shown in main diagram ~ is quite close to Comet Lemmon:

Our Sun has been spewing massive CMEs continuously for some days now. Here are just some examples, all of the data is taken from SpaceWeatherLive.

And remember we also had a super-humongous one on 21 October!
