Comet 3I/Atlas & Solar Activity: 4 - 5 September 2025

SpaceWeather

We've got another nice recording of Comet 3I/Atlas!

This visitor continues to confound the experts because of several peculiarities it possesses. In this SpaceWeather article, two are mentioned ~ the carbon dioxide-rich ratio and the Sun-loving tail. Here's what they said about the tail:

Normal comet tails are blown away from the sun by solar wind and radiation pressure. 3I/ATLAS’s tail points toward the sun--a twist that astronomers don't fully understand

There's still no clear indication of its size although Nasa (Never A Straight Answer) says that Hubble images have enabled them to make this estimate:

The upper limit on the diameter of the nucleus is 5.6 kilometers, though it could be as small as 320 metres across, researchers report.

Here for more details.

Meanwhile, Gregorio M Vigilante del Sol has some fascinating images of our Sun:

Comet 3I/Atlas' Trajectory Animation....& More

The Sky Live

I've lost count how many times I watched this animation 😄 Why didn't I find this earlier? I've converted it into a gif for reference, but please visit The Sky Live where you'll be able to set the dates as well as pause and play, and of course, read the article.

Look at how close it gets to Mars and Jupiter, its trajectory seemingly predetermined. There's also a link in the article to the 3D animation here.  It's mind-boggling to see that 3I/Atlas is basically traversing the Solar System almost on the ecliptic plane along with the other Planets, even though it's not gravitationally bound to our Sun, plus the fact that our Sun is at the same time moving through Space.

We've not been getting much Earth-facing strong Solar activity for some time now but as per my earlier post, our Sun is still very active in other parts of the Solar System. I feel that 3I/Atlas will have some effect on our Sun as it approaches nearer in the days to come.

With its estimated size (still under debate with Scientists but generally agree that it's "large"), imagine the amount of Cosmic Plasma and its inherent "data" that 3I/Atlas is carrying. There's some serious upgrading happening here.

Having said all that, I will end by stating that of course, this is all my opinion only.

Discernment & Discrimination ~ Sasquatch Message To Humanity ~ 24 August 2025

Sasquatch Message To Humanity

Please head over to the site for the complete message. The following is an excerpt:

Message from the Sasquatch Elders:

“We greet you in the spirit of Oneness and come to remind you of the sacred gifts of discernment and discrimination, for these are tools of wisdom needed in this time of great change."

"Discernment is the seeing of the heart. It is the inner knowing that comes not from the mind’s fears or the world’s illusions, but from the quiet guidance of Spirit within. When you listen with your heart, you can feel what carries truth, for truth always expands your being, uplifts your soul, and strengthens your bond with your true authentic self and all you are connected to. Whatever is not true will contract your heart and cloud your spirit."

Comet 3I/Atlas Update: 21 August 2025

SpaceWeather

SpaceWeather has an interesting update on Comet 3I/Atlas:

The tail of 3I/ATLAS points almost straight toward the sun. Normally, comet dust tails are pushed away from the sun by radiation pressure. 3I/ATLAS is doing the opposite—it's backwards.

Please read the rest of the report here.

There's also an article suggesting that 3I/Atlas is producing its own light, as per the very same Avi Loeb:

In the blog post, Loeb looks to the recent Hubble Space Telescope image of 3I/ATLAS.

"The image shows a glow of light, likely from a coma, ahead of the motion of 3I/ATLAS towards the Sun. There is no evidence for a bright cometary tail in the opposite direction," he writes.

"This glow was interpreted as evaporation of dust from the Sun-facing side of 3I/ATLAS."

After analysis of the light emitted by 3I/ATLAS, as described in a science paper published on 20 August 2025, Loeb then writes:

"The simplest interpretation is that the nucleus of 3I/ATLAS produces most of the light."

Solar Activity: 21/22 August 2025

SpaceWeather

This Solar burst was estimated to be speeding at 1,200 km/s (2.7 million mph), towards Mars.

Here's another look at the event, this one dramatically highlighting the Solar Halo:

"Primordial" & "Prime Order"

In a conversation, I heard someone saying "Prime Order" to describe a certain origin. It was several seconds later that I realised she had said "primordial" ~ I had misheard it as "Prime Order" but the latter made so much sense to me, even more meaningful than "primordial".

(In this post, I will ignore the "Prime Order" context in Mathematics.)

"Primordial" has strong connotations of something amoebically simple, primitive, unformed.

"Prime Order" allows the cognizance, sense and remembrance of something that's meant to be, that all is in right order.

"Prime Order" is so much better.

PS. From Etymonline

primordial(adj.)

late 14c., "being or pertaining to the source or beginning," from Late Latin primordialis "first of all, original," from Latin primordium "a beginning, the beginning, origin, commencement," from primus "first" (see prime (adj.)) + stem of ordiri "to begin" (see order (n.)). The sense of "first in order, earliest, existing from the beginning" is from 1785. Related: Primordially. Primordial soup as the name for the conditions believed to have been present on Earth circa 4.0 billion years ago, and from which life began, in J.B.S. Haldane's theory, is by 1934.
