Holy moly indeed! This is one ginormous outburst of goodness-knows how many gigatons of Cosmic Plasma! As The Sun Today pointed out, the size of this prominence is bigger than the diameter of our Sun. Please head over to their fb page for more details, including their full video. Both these eruptions are spreading Cosmic Plasma to other parts of our Solar System and are not Earth-facing, but that in no way means we don't sense it in some degree.
